Your payment security matters to us. Virelax uses Shopify’s secure checkout system and trusted payment providers to help protect your information throughout the payment process.

Secure and Encrypted Connection

Our website and checkout use an encrypted HTTPS connection. This helps protect information transmitted between your browser, our store and the payment provider.

Before entering payment information, you can confirm that the website address begins with https:// and displays the secure connection symbol in your browser.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely by the payment options displayed during checkout, including PayPal where available.

Virelax does not directly receive or store your complete card number, card security code or PayPal password. Your payment information is handled by the relevant payment provider according to its own security and privacy procedures.

PayPal Payments

When you choose PayPal, you may be redirected to PayPal or shown a PayPal checkout window to authorise your payment.

PayPal uses encryption and security monitoring to help protect eligible transactions. You should only enter your PayPal login information on an official PayPal page or authorised PayPal checkout window.

Payment Verification

Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may request an additional verification step before approving a payment. This may include a one-time security code, confirmation through a banking application or another identity check.

These checks are managed by your payment provider and are intended to reduce unauthorised transactions.

Available Payment Methods

The payment methods currently available for your order will be displayed at checkout. Available methods may depend on factors such as your device, location, order value and the payment provider’s requirements.

A payment method should not be considered available unless it appears as an option during checkout.

Payment Problems

If your payment is declined or cannot be completed, please:

  1. Check that your billing and payment details are correct.
  2. Confirm that sufficient funds or credit are available.
  3. Complete any verification request from your bank or payment provider.
  4. Try the payment again or use another available payment method.
  5. Contact your bank or payment provider if the problem continues.

Please do not send us your full card number, card security code, online banking password or PayPal password.

Suspicious Activity

If we identify unusual or potentially unauthorised activity, we may hold, cancel or request additional information about an order before it is processed. This helps protect both customers and Virelax from suspected fraud.
